Hi Evelyn, the number of links you have is very good. I did a keyword search on dietician nutritionist. When you check the links on the sites that come up on page one of google you find that it will most likely take over 100,000 links to make page one.

The field of nutrition on the internet is very competitive and lucrative. If you are interested in building a high traffic site I would recommend making some changes. Your home page needs to actually have information on it. The standard corporate landing page with a nice picture and a few tabs will not work for generating traffic. You also need to attach a blog to the site and have articles published at least 5 times a week. Here's my question I performed the links:EvelynTribole.com and there are 12,200 links.

I have no idea what this number indicates (is it good?).

I've had my site for a number of years, more as a service to my clients, but I'm expanding my business to include virtual training--and so, for the first time, I "care" about driving the traffic to my web. (It's a very targeted audience that I'm trying to reach).

Thank you for such a great post...and reminder to all of us...keywords are really important, and your suggestions will help beginners get started.

I suggest to all my author and writer book design clients to be sure to write articles, using their keywords, and post on blogs to get traffic and building their web-presence. I also suggest that social networking is a good place to begin to find the blogs that correspond to their niche.
